Financial fitness
Know what you
can spend today.
Fitness wearables read your body. Meditation apps read your head. Buck reads your money — and gives you one honest number every morning.
Most people find out
they overspent a month late.
Buck tells you the same day.
The whole idea
Your month, reduced to one number a day.
Buck takes what comes in, carves out what’s already spoken for, and divides the rest across the days you have left. Miss a day, and it quietly rebalances the ones after it.
The daily number
Flow
One figure, every morning: what's genuinely safe to spend today. It self-corrects — a heavy Saturday quietly lowers Sunday, a cheap week lifts the weekend.
The weekly read
Pace
Your average daily distance from Flow across the week, with a Sunday projection and a trail of the last five days. Resets Monday.
The monthly arc
Momentum
Where this month lands if you keep going exactly as you are — projected spend against your budget, updating in real time.
The morning ritual
Daily Balance
Under twenty seconds. Buck guesses; you confirm with a tap. Most mornings it's already empty, and empty means all clear.

Four numbers you already know. We’ll run the same waterfall the app runs and show you what a day of yours is actually worth.

It never feels like
a decision.
It feels like a coffee, a ride home, a round. Then the statement arrives and the month is already gone.
Buck makes it visible
while you can still choose.

Questions
The short answers.
What is Flow?
+
Flow is the amount that's genuinely safe to spend today. Buck takes your income, subtracts fixed costs, a 5% cushion and your treat fund, then divides what's left by the days remaining in the month. Overspend today and tomorrow's Flow drops. Underspend and it rises. It's pure daily math — no judgment, no streak to break.
Is Buck a budgeting app?
+
No. Budgeting apps ask you to build categories up front and then report on how badly you did. Buck answers exactly one question every day — am I on pace? — and corrects itself automatically when you're off.
How does Buck know what I spent?
+
It connects to your bank read-only through Plaid and categorizes transactions for you. Buck makes its best guess and you correct it in one tap. It only needs to be close and correctable, not perfect.
Does Buck move my money?
+
Never. The connection is read-only. Buck can see transactions in order to compute your Flow, and it cannot move a cent.
What does it cost?
+
$15 a month, or $150 a year. There's a 7-day free trial and it doesn't ask for a credit card to start.
When does it launch?
+
Buck is in private beta now. Join the waitlist and you'll get one email the moment it opens up.
